What A LIE … he went to one Province (Quebec) and generalize it for the rest of Canada … great coverage, so lame … I live in the Province Ontario and never wait that long … I go to the walkin clinic and don’t wait more than half an hour and I get to see a doctor … not even with my family doctor … It might not be totally perfect, but for sure it is a 100 times better than the US System … the German one I think is by far the best, I grew up in Germany, never paid a dime for anything

About 5 years ago my father felt extremely ill. We went to emerg via ambulance (no bill for that either BTW) and saw a doctor with 20 mins. In less than 48 hours my father was on dialysis and has been so ever since. Your analagy is first, wrong, and second, ignoring the fact that in the US if my father had a kidney issue prior to getting insurance he would either die or my mother would have had to sell her home. Also, if its so bad why do we live longer? It can’t be all that clean northern air.

  14. Claronium780 Says:

    Obviously minor …
Obviously minor things take forever sometimes in Canada, it’s well worth it compared to the ridiculous American system where “profit above all else” is the main thing that matters, rarely does anything serious take at all long, very rarely!

I’ve been to the ER 5 times in the last year, each time I was brought in from the waiting room within 15 minutes… even at the busiest hospital, my weight was 45 minutes. He has proven something… in fact, the Veterinary system sees animal patients within 10 minutes of walking in the door, while Canadians are queued for hours and days… do the math…

  17. h8uall66 Says:

My ex-wife used to work in an emergency room in the USA. She would often work an entire shift where patients would be waiting before she arrived and still be waiting when she clocked out. Triage assigns people priority based on the severity of their injury. This guy has proven nothing.
