This is just a bunch of misguided white guilt.

    The whole …
The whole Commenweath has however, thus a lot of mud in being. Even the queen would have had to apologise how much death it gave in English wars in the history. It is for me still about the question, why the Britten and other Europeans took the right to occur in other countries, and to rob them

    what a great moment …
what a great moment for history, and not only Australia’s. Let’s hope heads of states all over the world will follow his example.

  8. igotzapt1 Says:

    it is also fact …
it is also fact that they took them off their families to breed the black out of them. so that there would be NO black people in Australia. to wipe out their culture and everything that constituted their being.

    412krishna. this is …
412krishna. this is completly beside the point i am white and i have a black grandmother from the stolen generation and she still cries for the loss of her family and the brutality in which they were treated. this is about saying sorry to people who weren’t just taken away from their families but were spat on and abused and sexualy assulted because they were seen as nothing more than animals that deserved what they got. THAT is what they are saying sorry for.

    Lord Why did you …
Lord Why did you make me Black? Why did you make me someone The world wants to hold back? . ? Black is the colour of a bruised eye When somebody gets hurt. Black is the colour of darkness Black is the colour of dirt. How come my eyes are brown and not the colour of the day light sky? Why do some people see my skin and think I should be abused? Lord, I just don’t understand; what it is about my skin?

  11. saesae102 Says:

    When the lord …
When the lord answered my questions he said child please get off ur knees and look around you i didnt make you the image of darknes, i made you in the likeness of me , when i made you, you was my greatest creation, theres a smile behind your pain thats why i made ur cheeks high and i mad ur bone structure thick to withstand the burdens of time, You are of the midnight skies the stars the reflection u see in the mirror is the image of me!that is why i made you so black and beuatiful

  12. saesae102 Says:

    The biggest racists …
The biggest racists act’s that were done against our people thats what the Australian Government doesnt write on paper or history. Aboriginal People were murdered mistreated. my Grandmother’s brother was shot in the head for sleepin with a white woman in Kingaroy Court house back in 1959 by a white copper where was the justice in that and there are many more stories find out for urself b4 the elders that are left now are gone.
P.s hes only sayin sorry for stolen babies but all the racist acts

i agree with you.White babies where taken from mothers years ago if they weren’t married.Where is thier sorry???

  15. 412krishna Says:

    Alot of babies are …
Alot of babies are forced taken away from their mothers in one way or the other, not just Australian aboriginees, and they should not be isolated for being the only persons having experienced this. Many maternity wards just remove the babies from the parents today

  17. lorDUpor Says:

yes, but it is the …
yes, but it is the High Court in which this case would be heard – as it is an internal claim against the government, and the High Court has clear precedent to not issue compensaion

  18. chinese5angel Says:

    Mr Storey, who is …
Mr Storey, who is the head of Charles Darwin University’s Law Department, says “International law would see the situation of the Stolen Generations as one of a gross violation of human rights and has its own analysis of the appropriate way to deal with that. “The appropriate way under international law is to pay compensation as part of a reparations package.”

  19. lorDUpor Says:

    the high court …
the high court under the constitution would never allow a compo case against the government. The only compensation the aboriginal people will recieve is this appology, which our government gave freely

    I’m not narrow …
I’m not narrow minded, I never talk down the Labor party, or applaud the Liberals like they are all mighty. They only really have minor differences at heart anyways. We’re lucky enough not to be as divided as the US with the demo/repub parties (more radical in a sense). All I’m saying is the Liberals did alot of good for our country, I’m just hoping Labor can do the same. The only reason I voted Liberal was because my local MP is Turnbull, and I dislike/distrust Rudd.

  21. chinese5angel Says:

    Is there any third …
Is there any third party organization which support the sue of aboriginals toward Aus gov. for compensation in personal cases?

  22. rachaelgreen77 Says:

Let us hope that we …
Let us hope that we can now move forward together. I dream that this apology will allow a positive vibe to permeate Australia. The hate, blame and racisim can disolve and be replaced with Love, consideration and embracement.

    PS: Did I mention …
PS: Did I mention that they are a mob of private school bullies too?

  24. SkipperPhil Says:

Oh grow up and be …
Oh grow up and be real. Can’t you see, the people REJECTED the rodent and the nasty Liberals. Each day that goes by they become more irrelevant. Australia is OVER backward looking, cater to the greedy, divisive, mean-spirited, self-interested medieval-minded misfits like the snivelling Liberals.
