Locked Down – Americans facing martial law – Documentary – part 1/4
A short [rough cut] of a factual documentary on Martial Law in the US and gun control ; the realities we face as Americans. The main emphasis of this film, is that they (the federal government) took our guns already once before – and that martial law could become a reality since the government is basically ignoring posse comitatus.

U.S. manufacturers, including major drugmakers, have legally released at least 271 million pounds of pharmaceuticals into waterways that often provide drinking water — contamination the federal government has consistently overlooked, according to an Associated Press investigation.
Hundreds of active pharmaceutical ingredients are used in a variety of manufacturing, including drugmaking: For example, lithium is used to make ceramics and treat bipolar disorder; nitroglycerin is a heart drug and also used in explosives; copper shows up in everything from pipes to contraceptives.
Federal and industry officials say they don’t know the extent to which pharmaceuticals are released by U.S. manufacturers because no one tracks them — as drugs. But a close analysis of 20 years of federal records found that, in fact, the government unintentionally keeps data on a few, allowing a glimpse of the pharmaceuticals coming from factories.
As part of its ongoing PharmaWater investigation about trace concentrations of pharmaceuticals in drinking water, AP identified 22 compounds that show up on two lists: the EPA monitors them as industrial chemicals that are released into rivers, lakes and other bodies of water under federal pollution laws, while the Food and Drug Administration classifies them as active pharmaceutical ingredients.
The data don’t show precisely how much of the 271 million pounds comes from drugmakers versus other manufacturers; also, the figure is a massive undercount because of the limited federal government tracking.
To date, drugmakers have dismissed the suggestion that their manufacturing contributes significantly to what’s being found in water. Federal drug and water regulators agree.
But some researchers say the lack of required testing amounts to a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy about whether drugmakers are contributing to water pollution.
“It doesn’t pass the straight-face test to say pharmaceutical manufacturers are not emitting any of the compounds they’re creating,” said Kyla Bennett, who spent 10 years as an EPA enforcement officer before becoming an ecologist and environmental attorney.
Pilot studies in the U.S. and abroad are now confirming those doubts.
Last year, the AP reported that trace amounts of a wide range of pharmaceuticals — including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and sex hormones — have been found in American drinking water supplies. Including recent findings in Dallas, Cleveland and Maryland’s Prince George’s and Montgomery counties, pharmaceuticals have been detected in the drinking water of at least 51 million Americans.
Most cities and water providers still do not test. Some scientists say that wherever researchers look, they will find pharma-tainted water.
Consumers are considered the biggest contributors to the contamination. We consume drugs, then excrete what our bodies don’t absorb. Other times, we flush unused drugs down toilets. The AP also found that an estimated 250 million pounds of pharmaceuticals and contaminated packaging are thrown away each year by hospitals and long-term care facilities.

A video tribute to my northern neighbors in Canada.
The music is from the original O Canada at the EPCOT world showcase Canada pavillion.
The Canada Pavilion is part of the World Showcase within Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida USA.
The Canada pavilion is designed to remind the guest of the Canadian outdoors. The pavilion is decorated with a canyon, a waterfall, gardens, a pool with fountains, and totem poles.
The main attraction at the Canada Pavilion is O Canada!, a Circle-Vision 360° movie of Canada’s cities and scenery. This pavilion also includes Le Cellier Steakhouse and the semi-permanent home of the Celtic rock band Off Kilter. Characters from the film Brother Bear can sometimes be seen here.
Attraction history
Prior to the construction of the Canadian pavilion, the Walt Disney corporation sought financial support for the attraction from the Canadian government. The company wanted the Federal government to fund the cost of building the attraction, in return the government would have input into the design and layout. The Canadian government was concerned about the stereotype of Canada that Disney wanted (i.e., lumberjacks). Funding was refused, and Disney threatened to pull the exhibit, but ultimately did not.
In 2007, Disney updated the film “O Canada!”, which was filmed in 1979. For several years, the Canadian Tourism Commission had been lobbying to have the movie updated, partly to remove outdated stereotypes of Canadian life. On August 31, 2007, the updated edition opened with a new host, Canadian actor Martin Short, and Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila reprising the original film’s theme song, “Canada (You’re a Lifetime Journey)”.
Lyrics:
CANADA (YOU’RE A LIFETIME JOURNEY)
Words and music by Robert Moline
French lyrics by Guy Bonnardot
Vocals by John Zov and Juanice Charmaine
Canada (Canada),
My Canada (mon Canada).
You’re a lifetime journey for the traveler (le voyageur).
Canada (Canada),
My Canada (mon Canada).
You’re a lifeline of wonder on this planet Earth (planète terre).
Canada,
You are far too vast and beautiful for words to ever really tell.
Canada,
Ten thosand dawns and sunsets I could see
And still not know you well.
J’ai suivi la trace de tes oiseaux de neiges dans les forêts.
J’atteins peu à peu ton coeur et jevois
Comme si comme l’enfant.
Canada (Canada),
My Canada (mon Canada).
A Boutissement d’un rêve pour tous les voyageurs.
Canada (Canada),
My Canada (mon Canada).
Sur ta lingne de vie se tracent les miracles de la terre.
Canada comme une odyssée à travers les temps.
Tu es la fleur et la semence.
Canada.
Tes montagnes tes villes et tes mers
Sont tout ce que j’aime.
People from around the world have settled in your land.
For their heritage and Canda they stand
Side by side and hand in hand.
Canada (Canada),
My Canada (mon Canada).
You’re a lifeline of wonder on this planet Earth
